I believe leadership is an interactive activity that is strengthened by the combined labors of followers and leader. Vision leading to shared purpose is a critical component of these combined labors. The mechanics of shared effort does not allow for either party to be ambiguous or withdrawn.  We need to search our heart and soul for the values and beliefs that we are willing to stand behind.  From this, we begin to accept and share these beliefs and shape our behaviors and begin to contribute in shared labors.
